Modern Event is comprised of a group of professional DJs based in Vancouver, BC, who have been in the industry for more than 15 years providing worry-free and reliable DJ/Music service.

We take pride in having a solid foundation where each one of us know our styles, our strengths, and our weaknesses. We only use top of the line equipment and you may expect that the quality of our music is clear and sharp. We gather our music and everything is paid to have the highest quality of sound. Our attention to detail is superb, and thus, we have clean versions of radio edits so you can feel at ease and not worry about swear words, if this is something that bothers you.

At the same time, we support the artists as well. Sadly, many DJs out there download tracks via YouTube and the likes, which ends up with the quality of the music being distorted, if not having hiccups. We want that to be the least of your worries. Our team of professional DJs are highly experienced playing music in all genres of any event kind.We take the time to come in early on our gigs to make sure that everything is set up well. And since we are attentive to the littlest of detail, we make sure to be organized in any form – from clearing the entire site of any cables and even as far as setting up our equipment in an orderly and respectful manner.

All of us are highly experienced Open Format DJs. We can play everything from the old school music to the most recent ones in the charts. Thus, we can cater to clients of any age. We have mastered several genres you can surely enjoy, including Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B, Rock & Roll, Disco, Country, Reggae, EDM, House and everything else.

We also offer full lighting service for any type of event.  We use the latest in lighting technology to ensure you and your guest have a truly unique experience!
